Each product is numbered and tagged via engravings, stickers, NFC chips, or a combination depending on the item type. Skateboards, apparel, jewelry, and accessories each receive the marking method best suited to their form.
The QR code links to a unique product authentication site - one per item. There you find when the piece was made, which collection it belongs to, its number in the series, optional notes, and an anonymized history of owners for those who choose to register. View an example.
Every item ships with an authentication card that contains a QR code and a scratch-off claim code. The code lets you virtually own the item and optionally link to social profiles. This two-factor setup makes it easy to verify authenticity on the second market, so if these pieces ever gain value, they can be trusted and traded with confidence.
